I love this new feature! Only issue I have is that the icons don't appear correctly after pushing to Zendesk. Is there something I need to do on the Zendesk side to affect this?

Trevor DeVore

@Allison - Here is the article that shows you how to add the CSS and Javascript to Zendesk in order for the new features in ScreenSteps to work: http://help.screensteps.com/m/zendesk/l/526427-add-screensteps-styles-and-javascript-to-zendesk-hc?id=526427-add-screensteps-styles-and-javascript-to-zendesk-hc

@Trevor Thanks so much! You guys have article for everything! :-)

How do you get these options to appear? When I am creating an article in desktop, sometimes I have the option to choose on of these in my left pane, sometime the left pane is article inspector. There isn't an obvious way to change this left pane and I have no idea what prompts it to be one or the other.

Trevor DeVore

@Syndi - To get the options to appear you have to a) be working on a text content block (not a heading) and b) have the Content Inspector selected. In this article you will find a picture of the icon to click on in the editor under step 2 of "Locate the Style menu". It looks like a paintbrush. Clicking on it will show the options for the content block you are currently editing.

I would like to add a text content block but I do not want an icon. How do I do that? And I'd like to standardised the colour of that text block for re-use. How do I do that?

Amie Barder

@Vicki: The "Introduction" style adds a blue background to your text block without an icon.

And while there isn't an option to adjust/customize the style colors at this time, I'll certainly add you as a +1 to that feature request!
