Installing a custom HTML template

To make a custom template available to ScreenSteps, you place the HTML template folder in the ScreenSteps application support folder.

Note that you will need to restart ScreenSteps in order for the template to be available.

Accessing the Template folder

To quickly access the Templates folder use the Help menu and select Reveal Custom Template Folder option.

OS X

Templates are stored in the ~/Library/Application Support/ScreenSteps/3.0/Templates/HTML where ~ represents your home folder.

Windows XP

If user data is stored on the C: drive on your computer then the path would be C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR_USERNAME\Application Data\ScreenSteps\3.0\Templates\HTML where YOUR_USERNAME is your username on the computer.

Windows Vista and higher

If user data is stored on the C: drive on your computer then the path would be C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\ScreenSteps\3.0\Templates where YOUR_USERNAME is your username on the computer.
