Adding Viewing Permissions to an Article

To apply viewing permissions to an article:

  1. Click the padlock icon next the article title.

  1. Restrict viewing permissions for the article by selecting "Assigned Users or Groups."

  1. Select the group or individual users who can view the article.

Can we do this across the Article and Manuals and Chapters (all at once - parent to child[s])?

Can the update be done as a mass update or do we need to do this individually?

@Marshall: Yes - to assign permissions to your site on a more bulk scale (vs article by article), you'll want to assign user permissions to user groups. You can read more about that in section 2.1.1 of this article: https://help.screensteps.com/a/1345029
