How Identity Providers, domains, sites, and your account are associated
Updated onArticleIn ScreenSteps there are different domains associated with your account administration area and each of your sites. For example, your Content Management and Admin Centers, as well as your Primary Site might be accessed through
starkindustries.screenstepslive.com
and your other sites might beironman.screenstepslive.com
(orironman.starkindustries.com
if you are using host mapping with the site) andarcreactor.screenstepslive.com
(orarcreactor.starkindustries.com
if you are using host mapping with the site). When a user is logged into ScreenSteps they are logged into a specific domain. Being logged into one domain doesn't mean that you are logged into other domains, even if the domains are associated with the same account.
Each domain used in your ScreenSteps account can be associated with a single Identity Provider.

Assigning a new X.509 SAML Certificate to an Identity Provider configuration in ScreenSteps
Updated onWorkflowWhen you set up Single Sign-on using SAML in ScreenSteps you upload an X.509 Certificate in PEM format. This file is provided by your SAML provider. (If you are using Salesforce then the certificate is included in the Identify Provider Metadata file that you uploaded.) When that certificate expires you must upload a new certificate in order for your ScreenSteps SAML integration to continue to work properly.

What is Single Sign-on?
Updated onArticleBy default, ScreenSteps allows you to manage access to your content by means of users and groups that you create in your ScreenSteps account. Setting up Single Sign-on through a 3rd party Identity Provider (IDP) allows you to incorporate a 3rd party user management system with your ScreenSteps account so that you do not have to manage users in two separate places. Single Sign-on gives you full control over the user authentication process.
