Test in Microsoft Teams
Now it is time to test out the integration within Microsoft Teams. You can access ScreenSteps features from the Search bar as well as from messages.
You can access the ScreenSteps app from the search field in Microsoft Teams. From the search field start typing @ScreenSteps and select the @ScreenSteps app that appears in the filtered list.

You can now select the Search or Request an Article options. Start by clicking on the Search option.

You are now prompted to enter your search query.

Start typing the phrase you want to search on. Microsoft Teams will query the ScreenSteps server and return results from your site.

Clicking on one of the search results will display a card. You can do the following from this card:
- Open the article in a new browser tab
- Copy the card to the clipboard so you can paste it into a chat message.

This is an example of the card pasted into a chat message.
If you select Request an Article from the options list then you will be presented a form for submitting an article request to your team.
Using the Request an Article option requires that your account has the feature available and that it has been activated for the site that is being searched by Microsoft Teams.

Fill in the Question you have that isn't answered in your Knowledge Base as well as any additional details that will help your team create the article. Click Submit and you are done.
You can access the Search and Request an Article features from the message interface as well.
- Click on the … in the message editor.
- Click on the ScreenSteps app.

In the dialog that appears you can enter your search query or click the + button to access the Request an Article dialog.

If you enter a search query you can click on any of the results to insert a link to the article into the message.
