API Tokens can only be used with admin or contributor user accounts. Do not use API tokens in a situation where the resulting authorization string can be seen by the public.
- Click on Account
- Click on API Tokens
Click on Create API Token.
Enter a label for the token and specify a Scope. The scope can be Full Access or a specific site in your account. Full Access provides access to all sites in the account whereas selecting a specific site only gives access to that site.
If you are creating an API Token for use with SCIM then set the scope to Full Access.
