ScreenSteps and Zendesk Guide Viewing Permissions
Updated onWorkflowIn September 2018 Zendesk announced a new approach to viewing permissions in Zendesk (See the announcement). This change will require an update to the ScreenSteps application and how it sets viewing permissions for articles that are created in ScreenSteps and then published to Zendesk. Note: During this public beta period you will need to contact our support team to enable this feature on your account.

Is my content backed up?
Updated onArticleWe perform regular database backups to be used for disaster recovery in the case of the failure of our database server. Each time you save an article a revision is stored that you can restore yourself inside of your account. Zendesk Error: "Couldn't Authenticate You"

Does ScreenSteps include any analytics or usage reports?
Updated onArticleAnalytics is only included with the Small Business Plan and above to be used on internal documentation. Public facing knowledge bases are not eligible for analytics with ScreenSteps. But you can install 3rd party tracking code such as Google Analytics into any of your sites. Learn how to install tracking code
