Enabling the Google Chrome Extension on Your Account

Updated Jan 18, 2019

If the checkbox is disabled it will be for one of the following reasons:

  1. The ScreenSteps Google Chrome Extension is not available on your account plan. Contact support about upgrade options.
  2. The site you are viewing is not the Default Site for your account and does not have a Subdomain set. Contact support about setting a subdomain for the site.

The ScreenSteps Google Chrome Extension will only connect to sites that have the feature turned on. The Google Chrome Extension can be enabled on the following sites:

  • The Default Site for your account
  • Any site that has a Subdomain set

Site Subdomains and Legacy Sites

If you have a site that was created before December 2018 then the site probably does not have a Subdomain set. Please contact support to request that a subdomain be set for your site.

Please send a link to the site you want to change the subdomain on and the subdomain you would like to use.

Enabling the Google Chrome Extension

Select Settings > Settings

Select "Enable ScreenSteps Google Chrome Extension" and then "Save"
