How to Prompt a User to Reset Their Password

Prompting a user to reset their password will send them an email that includes a password reset link.

If a user is a Remote User then the Reset Password menu option will not be available. Their password will need to be reset in the Identification Provider that you set up to use for Single Sign-on with ScreenSteps.

1. Click Account and then Users

Account > Users

2. Click the action menu to the right of the user name, followed by Reset Password

Select Reset Password option

3. Click Send Password Reset Email

Click Send
