How do I update the ScreenSteps desktop editor?

This article assumes you have a previous version of the desktop editor installed on your machine. If you do not, please follow these instructions to download the ScreenSteps desktop editor.

Do you have a Windows computer or a Mac computer?

Launch the existing ScreenSteps Desktop application on your machine

Do you immediately see a "new version" window appear?

Click on Install update

From the top menu bar, click Help and then Check For Updates

Click on Install update

From the top menu bar, click Help and then Check For Updates

Click on Install Update

If you'd like updates to automatically install in the future, check the box highlighted in yellow before installing the update.
