How to Require/Not Require Process Owners for Article Certification

Updated on

This feature is only available to users on our current plans (Standard, Advanced, or Enterprise). If you're on a legacy plan and are interested in switching to a current plan, please reach out to us at <[email protected]>.

In some cases, you may want more than one user to be able to certify an article. To allow this, you'll need to adjust the associated site setting using the instructions below. Doing so will allow any user who can edit or review the article to certify that the article content is accurate.

1. Navigate to Site Settings

2. Check/uncheck the box next to "Require process owner for articles"

3. Click Update

Hi - I think this is a great update; business lines have been asking whether certification can be shared by multiple people. How does this affect the notification process? Who would receive the "Require Your Certification" emails?

Amie Barder

@Grant: Nobody would receive an email as nobody is assigned to it. At this time, you would need to use the 'All Articles' view and filter to see what is expiring.
