Using annotation presets to create a standard look

Updated on

Annotation Presets can be used in the desktop article editor to ensure that the image annotations in your documentation have a consistent look regardless of who is working on writing the article.

Any annotation presets you create will be available to other authors on your account the next time they launch the ScreenSteps desktop software.

You can use an annotation preset for any of the annotation tools.

unclear whether deleting an annotation preset affects the properties of annotations created with that preset, or if it just removes the preset from the list so someone can't use it again

@Eric: Any changes made to a preset will only affect annotations you use it on moving forward. In the case of deleting a preset, the option to use it again is removed and any existing annotations that had used it are unaffected.
