Overview
Sometimes you want to include a link to an email address, like this: Click here to send an email to [email protected]. By clicking that link, it will automatically open up a reader's email application, create a new email, and insert the email address into the To field. Below are instructions for how to do that.
Action
1. Select text
- In a paragraph block, write the text you want to turn into a link.
- Select it.

2. Create an external link
Click External Link

3. Link to mailto:[email_address]
Type mailto:
followed by the email address.
e.g. mailto:[email protected]

4. Click the link to create email
After you publish the article, that text will be a hyperlink. When you click the hyperlink, it will open up the reader's email application and include that email in the To field.
